Actually, it was my third trip visiting out "that way" in the past year. One of the major points of this visit was a 2nd birthday party.

I'm SO jealous of your talent. Seriously. Maybe you have had some free professional lessons? Can you imagine a book of your photos with haikus? That would be so freaking cool.

Unfortunately, I have very little understanding of f-stops, exposure, depth-of-field and any other things a professional photographer understands. I just know which shots I like and which ones I don't. The beauty of digital photography is that I can take 100 shots of something, and increase my chances -- at no additional cost -- of one decent final product.

Hmm. Digital photography...sounds like a good idea. It DOES seem cost saving. I'll just stick with the good old standard film camera. Action shots turn out so much better with them e.g. pics of water instead of whales.
