Nothing Looks the Same
(A Study of Color & Motion)

OK, so these photos suck. I know that. But the one thing I like about them is that they're not photoshopped at all — it was all a matter of using the colorswapping tool on my camera, playing with the aperature, etc.

These hardly 'suck' - far from it. I'm especially fond of the top two - there's something slightly dream-like about them. I am generally a sucker for 'available light' shots though.

I agree, these suck, if the definition of suck is completely awesome. I love, love, love-the third one, very cool.

You really are too hard on yourself. Those are pretty cool.

My little canon power shot has some buttons and setting ... that I've simply never figured out how to use.

You can't see them in this photo but a friend of mine designed the panels on the swing. It was one of her first jobs out of college. Pretty awesome to have your hand in something that is a Chicago landmark.

Y'all are being too nice. The only cool thing about these photos is that I've figured out how to accurately modify color and timing by using different settings on my camera.

But I'm unable to do any of that and still get decent quality. :(

Still, glad you like them OK.

Michael - That is pretty cool. I'll have to go back and look at some of the other photos I took to revisit the panels. I remember thinking some of the ones on the carousel were lovely.
