Beerfest (Movie Review)

Don't ask me why I watched this, or even how I managed to find the time, when I've scarcely been able to fit "sleep" into my schedule.

Suffice it to say it's not a good movie, but it's better — and certainly more watchable — than Benchwarmers, which I will continue to refer to as the worst comedy thus far this millennium.

Rather, Beerfest (2006) is more watchable by the simple virtue of its ability to laugh at itself. It's meant to be a film enjoyed by college frat boys in the middle of a drinking binge, and I suspect that crowd will enjoy the film just fine.

But unless that's you, I recommend you use your spare time to get back to unpacking.

Don't have anything to unpack?

Then come help me.

Please.

This kid from high school told me this was the funniest movie EVER and I HAD to watch it. I knew the quality wouldn't be so great, but I trudged on. It was right up there with South Park uncut. Wait, It surpassed it and then some.

Winter, don't judge me.

I was tired and not feeling particularly well and was really hard up for an easy distraction.

Plus, I don't have a Netflix account. Washington does.

I really need to look into that...

Netflix is a beautiful thing, save yourself, eight bucks a month now.

1. Netflix rules. I love it.

2. This movie sounds like one I might like. Why? I liked Dude, Where's My Car and Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. I also think that PCU and TommyBoy are too cool for skool.

3. I think I probably lost a couple cool points, didn't I?
