yeah, if you look right you can see that he's sitting right on where the roof leaks... must be a storm coming. better than having a bunch of pots and pans collecting the extra water, least that's what dad used to say. at least his parents gave him a book. I used to just get a stick with a point.

BPP & DS - Actually, you're both right. He was blocking out water, and he was trying to "get away."
ReplyDeleteThat's his grandparents' home, which had been all-but-destroyed by a tornado the night before.
He really shouldn't have been up there. But it was collapsed on another side, giving him easy scrambling access to the "stable" portion.
